Halloween Events Around Columbia County, Pennsylvania

Halloween is a favorite holiday for many reasons. Costumes, candy, and the chance to enjoy Pennsylvania’s astounding fall colors with the family are all highlights of the fall season.  There are many fun events in and around Columbia County this fall that will make Halloween even better.

For a great weekend or after-school adventure, check out these upcoming events:

  • Fall Craft Show At the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech building in Bloomsburg, October 24.  The Craft Show is a great place to pick up fall decorations from vendors who’ll share details of their work with you.
  • Orangeville’s Scarecrow Decorating Contest Scarecrows go on display this week. Visitors can vote on the best ones through October 24.  Attend the Fall Family Party on October 27 at the Orangeville Library to learn which scarecrow is the favorite!
  • Hayrides at Kohl’s Stony Hill Tree Farm Until November 1, enjoy a half-hour hayride through this historic farm and surrounding areas, including a covered bridge.  The farm also has a fun corn maze.
  • Halloween 5K Run/Walk Sponsored by the Bloomsburg University Exercise Science Club, this event lets residents of all ages enjoy some fun exercise before hitting the streets for trick or treating. Festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st.
  • Halloween 80s Party at Brewsburg Halloween can be fun for adults, too.  Roll up your stonewashed jeans and gather your bangle bracelets. Brewsburg in Bloomsburg, PA is throwing a Halloween party with a throwback theme. Head back to the 1980s with fun and friends.  The party begins at 7 pm.
  • Rohrbach’s Farm Fall Special Needs Night October 20, 2015 from 3-7 p.m. Rohrbach’s Farm Market recognizes families with special needs with a family night out. This night is a special invitation to special needs families.
  • Annual Danville Halloween Parade Big event in Danville with marching bands, fire trucks and young and old in costume. October 29, 2015 at 7 p.m.
  • Knoebels Hallo-Fun Weekends Kneobels transforms into a spooktacular place for ghosts and ghouls of all ages. Weekends through October 30.
  • Rohrbach’s Farm Pumpkin Fall Festival Corn maze, hayrides, pick your own pumpkins, Playland. Weekends through October 31
  • Trick or Trot 5K The Columbia Montour Special Needs Council hosts a 5K Trick or Trot to benefit Eos Therapeutic Riding Center. October 31 at 8 a.m.
