Yesterday, Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, announced the promotion of Marissa Marshall to member as well as a change in the firm’s strategic direction to focus primarily on elder law, estate planning and administration, and real estate.

The firm was established in Bloomsburg PA in 1971. Attorney William S. Kreisher, Esq., the founding partner of Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, has practiced law in the region for over 45 years. Michael P. Gregorowicz, Esq., joined the firm in 1979, and together they concentrated the firm’s growth in real property transfers, business law, municipal law, bankruptcy, workers’ compensation, social security disability law, probate and administration, and family law. While the focus of Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, will be on elder law and real estate issues, both William and Michael will continue to hold prominent roles within the practice and maintain their current practice areas.

“Kreisher & Gregorowicz has a long history of providing legal services and education to the members of our community,” said Marianne Kreisher, Esq., CELA and managing member. “With the rebrand of our firm to Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, I am looking forward to carrying on that tradition and ensuring that our over 90 years of combined legal experience will continue to provide our community with legal expertise for years to come.”

New Name, New Direction, Same Dedication

While the name has changed, the service and commitment the firm has provided to the Central Susquehanna Valley over the past forty years has not. Marianne Kreisher and Marissa Marshall are the only two certified elder law attorneys (CELAs) in Columbia and Montour counties. Marianne received her certification in 2011 and Marissa received her certification in 2016 from the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Marissa Marshall, Esq, CELA, has practiced law in Columbia County since 2009 and has been with the firm since 2011. “It is an honor to be carrying forward the quality legal representation that so many in our community have benefited from with Kreisher & Gregorowicz. Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, will continue creating relationships with the community just as Kreisher & Gregorowicz has done for decades,” Marissa commented. “As certified elder law attorneys, we believe knowledge is power, and we want to assure the community that we will provide the representation you need, and as much education as possible, for meeting your emotional, financial, and legal needs during the aging process.”
